The Advanced Adventurer course is the next step for Open Water Divers to gain more experience, confidence and increase the maximum depth you are certified to 30 meters.  

You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different speciality dives while gaining experience under the supervision of your Performance Diver Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.

We have a few different ways for you to complete your Advanced Adventurer. Our most popular combo has one day shore diving around the greater Auckland area followed by a day out on our Local boat, taking in the many dive sites around Leigh and the Tawharanui Peninsula. You can even take a trip to The Poor Knights, or you can combine it with weekend away and complete your course entirely somewhere stunning like The Bay of Islands! (please note, trips to the Poor Knights and the Bay of Islands will incur an additional cost)
